CMCIA/Laptop
1) Install loader app (zie attachment)
2) Select .upd file and put CAM in laptop
3) Set PCMCIA setting to CAM 0
4) Hit "Download Now!" button
5) DON'T EXTRACT CAM UNTIL IT SAYS: "Please extract CAM"
6) Extract CAM and then reinsert again for 10-15 seconds
6) Put CAM into STB, and activate patch by going into CAM's Information menu and entering the magic number "777"
Serial Programmer (S.P)
1) Install loader app (zie attachment)
2) Set Serial Setting to 57600 and your COM port to 1 or 2
3) Select .upd file and connect S.P. to computer
4) Put CAM into STB, and put S.P. into CAM
5) Go into STB CI Menu and select download firmware option
6) When the screen says: "Performing serial download," wait 5 seconds then hit "Download Now!" button on the computer
7) When done, the screen will say "Download Completed!..." so hit OK
8 ) Activate patch by going into CAM's Information menu and entering the magic number "777"
Fun Cards
1) Upgrade will take 3 Fun5's, 2 Fun6's, and 1 Fun7 (actually, if you only had 2 cards, you could do one while programming the next one).
2) Program cards with right flash and eeprom files.
3) Insert 1st card into CAM, then insert CAM with card into STB
4) Go to CAM menu and select download firmware
5) Wait, and at some point the screen should say:"Performing smart card download."
6) Extract card when prompted, and insert next card when prompted
7) When done, the screen will say "Download Completed!..." so hit OK
8 ) Activate patch by going into CAM's Information menu and entering the magic number "777"
