King Charles' 'short temper' moment is worrying sign monarch is struggling, says expert
King Charles is at the end of his tether according to a body language expert, and we could see more of his short temper given the monarch has had little time to rest or privately mourn the Queen's death
A body language expert has said that King Charles' outburst at a leaky pen in Northern Ireland is a sign that things are starting to take their toll on the nation's new monarch.
Charles was signing the guest book at Hillsborough Castle today (September 13) when his pen began to leak on him, causing him to spring up and walk away.
The King was vocal with his frustrations making the room full of aides and his wife Queen consort Camilla become one of awkward tension.
Standing up, disgusted at his pen, he said, "Oh God I hate this" before adding, "I can't bear this bloody thing! [It's] what they do every stinking time".
Camilla could be heard adding: "Oh look it's going everywhere", before she sat down and signed the guest book herself.
According to Adrianne Carter, a body language expert known as the Face Whisperer, Charles may now be reaching the end of his tether as the death of his mother and the enormous workload he has had since start to "take their toll".
"It looks as if the emotions and tiredness are starting to take their toll on the new King and Queen," Adrianne told the Daily Star.

"This is something that they would normally laugh off but there’s no laughing or light-heartedness.
"They are processing a lot this week and as we draw closer to the funeral we may see more evidence of short tempers when things don’t go quite to plan…"
Charles' outburst is his second publicly since he's been King, having a similar moment at an inkpot getting in his way as he signed official documents at the Accession Council last week.
He signalled in a frustrated manner for an aide to clear the crammed table of the pot.
