Spain Euro 2024 duo Dani Carvajal and Joselu Mato will be cheered on from the sidelines on Sunday in Berlin by their jaw-dropping blonde wives who are twins

A month of European footballing action comes to a close on Sunday night in Berlin when England and Spain face off in the Euro 2024 final.

Spain have been the best team in the tournament, with the likes of Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams leading the charge for Luis de la Fuente's men. Conversely, Gareth Southgate's England have had to scrape and claw their way to Berlin to reach their second consecutive European Championship final.

However, regardless of the result on Sunday night, there are two players in the Spain squad, Dani Carvajal and Joselu, who will be winning off the pitch even if they don't win on it - thanks to their gorgeous blonde wives, who are twins.

The Spain Euro 2024 pair are married to twins Daphne and Melanie Cañizares. In 2016, former Newcastle and Stoke striker Joselu, who played a pivotal role in helping Real Madrid reach the final of the Champions League this season, tied the knot with Melanie.

Then in 2022, it was Carvajal and Daphne's turn, with the pair getting hitched to make the Spain duo brothers-in-law.

Melanie worked as a flight attendant and a model, while Daphne owns a wedding company, 'Blue Weddings'.

Over on Instagram, Daphne boasts a following of 266k, while Melanie has 56.6k. And a win on Sunday would cap off a stunning season for the two families.

While Joselu has agreed a deal to join Qatari side Al-Gharafa, he played an instrumental part in helping Real Madrid to Champions League glory this season, bagging a dramatic brace in the semi-finals against Bayern Munich to put Carlo Ancelotti's side into the final.

Once they reached the final in London at Wembley, it was Carvajal who got the party started for Real Madrid against Borussia Dortmund, scoring the opener on 74 minutes for the Spanish side, who also won La Liga this term.

And while the win over Dortmund saw Joselu earn his first major European club honour, it was Carvajal's sixth Champions League winners medal, putting himself, and team-mate Luka Modric, level with Real Madrid legend Francisco Gento for the most European Cup final wins.
