Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope.
It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go.

Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. Stellarium renders 3D photo-realistic skies in real time with OpenGL. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. Stellarium displays stars, constellations, planets, nebulas and others things like ground, landscape, atmosphere, etc. It is available for Linux/Unix, Windows and MacOSX. Stellarium allows your desktop, then re-create the starry sky, which you can see from above their heads. Developed for Mac OS X, Linux / Unix and Windows, the application in real-time draws the map of the starry sky, you can play the most significant of the trajectory of satellites lay at the sky as the constellations and the map.
