A woman is auctioning off her virginity and claims an unnamed 'politician' has lodged a bid of £1.2million - she hopes to raise the funds to help her disabled mother and pay for her studi

A woman is auctioning off her virginity in a bidding war that has so far reached the seven-figure mark – and claims some public figures are "interested".

Laura, 20, has confirmed she will be selling her first time through Cinderella Escorts, an online site dedicated to linking needy members of the public with sex workers. She hopes to raise the funds to help her disabled mother and pay for her studies.

The wild bidding war has allegedly involved some of London's elite and famous, with Laura claiming a mystery "politician" has thrown his hat into the ring.

A post from Cinderella Escorts reads: "Laura would like to sell her virginity through Cinderella escorts. The pretty British girl is 20-years-old. A doctor has verified her virginity. In order to make sure that she is a real virgin the buyer can either bring a doctor to the meeting or visit together a doctor in Germany a day beforehand."

Speaking of the wild decision, Laura said: "I am comfortable with my decision. I think that every woman should have the right to decide what she wants to do with her own body without facing judgement from other people.

"I'm at university at the moment and I think that money would really help me to focus on my studies." She also said she plans to use the funds to start up her own business.

Laura later claimed she was meeting a potential buyer in London, and said they were a "politician" who had placed a bid on her virginity. "I look forward to seeing the city and meeting him," Laura said in her update, adding: "He's a politician so I am a bit nervous but we'll see how it goes." Laura said she will let people know if she takes the offer and closes the auction.

A further update saw Laura claim the meeting with the unnamed politician had led to a shopping spree and a bid of €1.2million (£1m).

She said she will close the auction around New Years, and it lists a number of rules for how the encounter will go down. The website reads that the meeting must take place in Germany "for legal reasons".

It continued: "The buyer can choose a hotel of his choice, where Anna will spend one night with him. The date should be within one month after booking at the latest."

Exchanging sexual services for money is legal in the UK however soliciting on the street or in public places is against the law.
