WW3 is 'right under our noses' as Vladimir Putin makes 'disturbing' statement
With tensions heating up in the Middle East between Iran, Israel, Hamas and more, and Russia's constant war with Ukraine, the threat of a full-scale World War 3 is looming
Russian despot Vladimir Putin has commented on the chances of World War 3 – and it's not good. The Russian leader has been engaged in a war against Ukraine since 2022, as well has having soldiers in Syria and other places.
And with tensions heating up in the Middle East between Iran, Israel, Hamas and more, the threat of a full-scale World War 3 is looming. Coupled with the United States not willing to try to calm any fears despite being somewhat involved in every way going on in some way, Putin has now waded in on the chances of WW3 happening.
Speaking at an economic forum in St. Petersburg, Russia this week, he mused over his antics in Ukraine and the Middle East instability.
He said: “It is disturbing. I am speaking without any irony, without any jokes. Of course, there is a lot of conflict potential, it is growing, and it is right under our noses, and it affects us directly.
“And this requires, of course, not only our careful attention to the events taking place, but also the search for solutions, the search for solutions, preferably by peaceful means, in all directions.
“But the decision, of course, is up to the political leadership of all these countries, primarily Iran and Israel – In my view, a solution could be found.”
The claims regarding Iran are a far cry from what many had assumed, as Putin was thought to be an ally of Iran as well as having also turned his back on former allies Israel over the last several years.
He then made comments regarding the future of Russia's army – seemingly ignoring the fact that it has been heavily depleted by the invasion of Ukraine.
So far, Putin has lost more than 1million soldiers either through loss of life or horrific injury, with his stockpile of weapons also running low.
However, he said: “We will harness new technology to improve the combat capabilities of the Russian armed forces, modernise military infrastructure facilities, (and) equip them with the latest technology and weapons and equipment.
“At the same time, we intend to develop military-technical co-operation with friendly countries.
“And we are talking not only about supplies or the modernisation of equipment and weapons, but also about joint development, personnel training, and the creation of turn-key enterprises and production facilities”
