Tenho uma vps em debian e quero que reinicie automaticamente.
Alguem me pode ajudar.

Se queres que faça reboot todos os dias às 5 da manhã usa isto:

crontab -e

insere a seguinte linha:

0 5 * * * /sbin/shutdown -r now

CTRL+X
YES

Será que cometi algu erro ?

O 0 1 * * * root reboot nao deverá funcionar pois falta-lhe o caminho completo para o reboot. Nessa linha estas a dizer que queres reboot todos os dias à 1h da manha.
Na outra linha estas a dizer que queres Renoir às 10:11 e parece-me OK.

Editei a linha como esta no post em cima reiniciei o server manualmente e quando chegou a hora não o fez automaticamente.

Em debian adicionar a seguinte linha em:
/etc/crontab

0 4 * * * root /sbin/shutdown -r now # exemplo reiniciar o sistema todos os dias as 4 da manha

para mudar a hora basta mudar onde esta o "0 4"
tipo "0 8" para reiniciar as 8 horas.

Entra no servidor logado como root , usando um programa FTP ou WINSCP e edita o ficheiro:

/etc/crontab

Apaga tudo que lá tens e adiciona o seguinte:

# /etc/crontab: system-wide crontab

0 1 * * * root /sbin/shutdown -r now

guarda e dá premissões ( 0644) ao ficheiro (crontab)


reinicia o servidor manualmente e já esta, o servidor vai fazer reboot automatico todos os dias a 1 da manhã.
